traditional Hmong girls dress featuring five separate pieces.
- [Tsho] A long sleeve shirt featuring a black silk background and brightly colored flower pattern in purples, oranges, and pinks with bright green stems. The shirt has bright pink fabric cuffs on the arms, about three inches thick with brightly colored patterns embroidered on top of the fabric. Two strips of bright pink fabric line the openings of the shirt center, on either side, about two inches thick, embroidered with brightly colored thread patterns. Back of the shirt features a blue strip of fabric with a pink border stemming from the neck, which is connected directly to a cross stitch square pattern of multicolored thread.
- Matching front panel [Sev]. Brightly colored pink fabric, embroidered with bright thread patterns in primarily triangular forms, and embellished with sparkling colored jewels. Top of Sev is solid black in color.
- Pleated skirt [Tiab] with primarily pink, green, and black stripes running horizontally in various patterns around the skirt. Top of the skirt is white, with two white strings to tie around the wearer’s waist.
- Silver Necklace with large central hoop. From the hoop dangles two silver trapezoidal segments, attached with two hollow circles and two spirals across the top of each trapezoid. At the bottom of the second trapezoid, five silver bells dangle from the trapezoid.
- Silver belt with large flower-like patterns linked around the central structure of the belt. From the bottom of the belt when worn, silver floral-like attachments dangle, interlaced with dangling heart bells, and additional bobbles.
