Thomas Grant Richardson

Thomas Grant Richardson is an independent folklorist, ethnomusicologist, and traditional arts consultant based in Santa Fe, New Mexico. Before beginning freelance work he was the Curator of Education at the Birthplace of Country Music Museum in Bristol VA/TN. He has conducted ethnographic fieldwork for folklife organizations in New Mexico, Oregon, Utah, Missouri, Minnesota, Nebraska, New York, Tennessee, as well as internationally. He has consulted for numerous clients across the country including American Folklore Society, Association for Cultural Equity, National Assemble of State Arts Agencies, and PBS Education. Thomas holds a Master's Degree in Ethnomusicology and a Ph.D. in Folklore from Indiana University.
