Velvet, white, fitted bodice with sequin embroidery of American flag, flowers, "Utah" and "76", piping at waistline with gathers down skirt, sequin embroidery on skirt of a beehive, American flags, flowers, 3/4 sleeves with 4 1/2" lace cuff, hexagon neckline with lace border, zipper in back.

Master file calls this a square dancing dress, made by donor for Mary Blair, wife of the president of the Utah Chapter of the National Square Dance Association. She wore it at the SLC Salt Palace and National Square dance Convention in Anaheim California. This one was special made to commemorate the 1976 American Bicentennial.
