Biographical Text

Born in Ogden, Utah, Brett King has lived in the Davis/Weber County area most of his life. Growing up on a dairy farm with horses being a big part of daily life, Brett learned to rope cattle and train horses. Making some of the tools needed in his trade was an interest of his, and in college he became more serious about learning to hitch for adorning hats, belts and cinches. Working with leather is another talent of Brett's, and he learned to make saddles and adorn his tack by tooling, or carving, in the leather.
