Rawhide and Horsehair Quirt with Fringe: Quirt or whip with brown and orange horsehair decoration Hitched quirt made of woven horsehair and braided rawhide. Horsehair has gold diamond-shaped design. Loose blond hair fringe is at end of horsehair pieces. Woven leather strap at one end and rawhide strips at other. Quirt is the darker, thicker one in the photographs.

Light-colored Rawhide Quirt with Hitched Horsehair: Braided rawhide quirt, or whip, with horsehair decoration. Handle is topped with a flower and paisley designed metal cap. Design on handle is of 2 larger diamonds of yellow, black, and red. Two smaller diamonds of same colors, one above the other, are between the larger diamonds on both sides. Strap is tooled leather. Lighter, thinner quirt in photo is this quirt.
